Prevention of Violence Against Women
Promoting respectful relationships & zero tolerance of violence against women.
Ballarat & Grampians Community Legal Service is committed to the prevention and elimination of violence against women.
The Communities of Respect and Equality Alliance (CoRE) is a partnership of organisations, businesses, clubs, groups and networks from across the Grampians Region that share a vision for safe, equal and respectful communities.

Central Highlands Community Legal Centre is proud to be the first White Ribbon Accredited community legal centre. As a socially progressive organisation, we take a zero tolerance approach to violence against women in the workplace and more broadly across society.
About the Accreditation Program
Violence against women– whether it occurs in or beyond the workplace – impacts on the health and safety of women at work, their well-being and their productivity. It may also impact negatively on the reputation of the organisation and bottom-line profit and loss.
The Workplace Accreditation Program recognises workplaces that are taking active steps to prevent and respond to violence against women, accrediting them as a White Ribbon Workplace.
White Ribbon Workplaces are centres of respect and pro-activity in relation to the safety of women in the workplace, and are members of a truly leading edge cohort, both nationally and internationally. The Program is an award-winning initiative which is complementary to women’s empowerment initiatives and strengthens the organisation’s stance in relation to anti-bullying legislation.
